Room Forty specialise in vintage afternoon tea, but we also love making canapes and creating special buffets.
All Room Forty food is home made. We dont open packets, we dont deep fry and we rarely use food colouring, basically we're not beige and boring. Think home made bread rolls, local quality cheeses, butchers meats and pies, superfood salads and soups made from the finest seasonal ingredients, as well as Room Forty scones and cakes of course!

Had a lovely Golden Wedding in June 2017 with wonderful food provided by Jennifer and her team . She did all the decorations in the Marquee ( for over 100) . Nothing was too much trouble . She provided all the flowers for the tables did the table plan , and provided cheese home made bread pate and pickles for the evening.
Can't recommend her enough, so pleasant to deal with , a can do attitude ."
Funeral Tea
"A sad occasion made into a beautiful remembrance. .. a wonderful array of beautiful cakes and sandwiches all home baked... amazing!
We hired Room Forty to provide a buffet following our mother's funeral. The service was fantastic and the food was just right. It was the little things, the attention to detail. Special requests were incorporated without fuss and Jen even made what our family fondly call 'Suzie Nanna cake' (Manor House Cake) as a special memory."
