Afternoon tea is the perfect event for anniversaries, birthdays, wedding breakfasts, baby showers and hen parties, as well as corporate entertainment and special final farewell funerals. And the beauty of Room Forty, is that we come to you so you don't have to travel!

We bring our travelling tea room including the tea pots and cake stands, food and waitresses to venues and homes in Warrington, Cheshire, Merseyside, Manchester and Lancashire. We have even been into North Wales and the Peak District.
​Room Forty afternoon tea's are a lovely experience for a busy host who wants to arrange a party but doesn't have time to pull all the elements together. We dress your table (or boardroom, or community centre), prepare all the food from scratch, hang the bunting and even supply the music.  We even do the washing up!

Afternoon tea, high tea, cream tea and buffet menu's are carefully planned and designed to delight your senses and create the perfect ambience for your special occasion, whatever your age, whatever the event. If you have special dietary requirements let us know when you book, and we will plan your menu just for you.

Want the vintage china but prefer to provide your own catering? That's fine, we hire our 150+ sets of vintage china at very reasonable rates. 

As well as providing beautiful afternoon teas for your special events, we run several bread making and Crafternoon teas and creative restful retreats across the North West. There is something for everyone to enjoy and we try and keep our pricing reasonable.

Warrington Guardian Afternoon Tea of the year 2024. 

Afternoon Tea Company of the Year at the Manchester & Northwest England Prestige Awards 2021/22.

We picked up the Northern Enterprise Awards for best mobile baking workshop AND best mobile afternoon tea in July 2019.  

We were delighted to win hospitality provider of the year at Warrington Business Awards 2018. We are so proud of this recognition from the business sector in our own community.

It joins the Silver award we received in October 17 in the WORLD bread awards for our white delight loaf.  It's the bread we make on our bread workshops, and in some of our high teas!
