Bread making classes
Learn to make delicious home made artisan bread at one of our many classes across the north west. We have several classes to choose from, depending on your skill level. Whilst we recommend you start at the beginners class and develop from there, it isn't unheard of for someone to start on Italian Breads and then do the beginners, and they have just as much success.
We have several venues including Lymm Parish Hall, JD Kitchens, Gorsey Lane, Grappenhall Heyes Walled Garden, Rainford Village Hall and The Hilltop at Mossley Hill Church, Liverpool but can also run this half day course in your own home or workplace, a great team builder or family activity - ask for details.

Baking for beginners £50 times vary, but generally 5.15/ 5.45 – 8.30pm
Learn the basics of bread making in our fun, hands on class. Suitable for ages 12 upwards our students will learn the fundamentals of bread, making two types of bread to take home and enjoying a demonstration of wholemeal bread and pizza with fresh slices for everyone.

Whilst no experience is necessary, this very popular class moves you on from the very basics and introduces new techniques and expands your knowledge of the art of dough! The breads are all delicious and are packed with flavour, and of course you will take them home at the end of the class.
You’ll learn to make a delicious rosemary infused focaccia free form, a tinned cheese and walnut pane which is delicious fresh, but made extra special a few days later when you toast it! Guests will also enjoy a Room Forty scone demonstration, which we'll eat in our break time with a cup of tea.

This super indulgent class is a real winner and quite messy, with different kneading techniques taught for enriched doughs.
We'll take you through the steps needed to make beautiful crusty tiger bread, followed by deliciously decadent iced buns. Fun guaranteed!

"The last group baking lesson I had was at school 30 years ago so I wasn’t quite sure what the workshop would be like when I booked it as my husband’s birthday present. It turned out to be a great evening with a lovely group of people (thank you to Anna, Jack, Judith, Clare and George for being great fellow bakers).

Easier on the stomach, perfect for people who find regular wheat uncomfortable. Extremely popular with fitness pro’s and suitable for anyone who loves bread.
